Once a year, Chestertown celebrates its own in the way of culinary genius. For one day, residents and guests can spend a few hours teasing their taste buds with samplings from some of the area’s best restaurants, chefs, brewers and vintners. Come to Fountain Park in downtown Chestertown (at the corner of High Street and Cross Street) on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to savor a veritable buffet of dishes and drinks.
Taste of the Town is now in its 8th year, with no signs of letting up! Before you arrive, you’ll be greeted with savory scents and festive sounds emanating from the park. Besides the obvious food, you can watch and/or participate in the competitions, auction and raffles during the event.

Samples are purchased with tickets: each booth offers samples for 1-3 tickets, and soft drinks/bottled water are offered for 1 ticket. Advance Pass Tickets are currently available; $15 gets you for 12 food/drink tickets at the event. After Wednesday April 22, 12 tickets can be purchased for $20 “at the door”. Additional tickets can be purchased at the event in $5.00 increments: 3 tickets are $5.00 once you are in attendance.
