There is no better place to spend 4th of July weekend than the beautiful Chesapeake Bay. Whether you’re looking to relax by the waterfront with a good book, explore the bay and shoreline in a kayak or canoe, or watch spectacular firework displays, your awesome adventure starts at Great Oak Manor.

This year, Kent County has three amazing nights of fireworks planned! The first display is at Great Oak Landing Marina at 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 2. For this amazing show, you won’t need to leave the manor. You can have the best seat in the house on our back lawn to watch the fireworks sparkle over the bay.

On Monday, July 3 head to Rock Hall for another fabulous fireworks show at the bulkhead on Bayside Avenue. Before the show, stroll through the town’s charming streets and enjoy some delicious blue crabs.

Enjoy a final show of fireworks in Chestertown, Maryland! Grab a seat in Wilmer Park and watch the fireworks sparkle above the Chester River.

Reserve your stay at Great Oak Manor today for July 4th weekend and enjoy all Kent County and the Chesapeake Bay have to offer.
